On June 23, 2000, 
Mr. Allen Shainsky, 
President and founder
of Petaluma Poultry,
passed away at age 69

- A lifelong Sonoma County resident with a self-proclaimed "passion for poultry"

- The father of Rockies and Rosie chickens and to many he was our second father 

- Allen leaves his wife Marcia and two children Lauri and Mike

- Those beautiful memories provide special comfort to us all in U.S.A. and Japan
