It is with great pleasure that we at Petaluma Poultry Processors introduce a new product to our full line of natural poultry products. We specialize in meeting the needs of gourmet chefs and health conscious consumers all over the United States and are proud to now have our products available in Japan. This new product is Rosie the Organic Chicken, one of the first certified organic chickens to have approved an USDA label. Rosie is fed a vegetable diet of certified organic feed free of pesticides, and without the use of antibiotics, animal by products, animal fat, or drugs of any type. Rosie will also be free range. Rosie is certified by an independent third party certifier Oregon Tilth. Rosie the organic chicken is the c!eanest, purest chicken available today. We appreciate the cooperation and support that has been extended to us by MLT Trading Co and the Kakiuchi Group so that we may offer our products for sale in your country. They have sought our company and have been strongly persuading us to introduce these clean poultry products to the Japanese market. This is the first time that we have been able to offer our products outside of the United States and it represents a new era in the history of our company. Petaluma Poultry Processors was founded in 1971, but Allen Shainsky's family has been involved in marketing chickens for over 78 years. Our company concentrates on producing the highest quality products available anywhere. For over the past 13 years, we have been marketing “Rocky the Range Chicken”, a free-range chicken raised without antibiotics on a diet containing no animal by-products. In 1988, “Rocky Junior” was created to provide smaller version of antibiotic free chicken. Rocky Junior is several weeks younger and about 2 Ibs smaller, but enjoys the same living environment, except that he may only roam indoors. The production of Rosie the organic chicken will start approximately March 1, 1999 and be available for shipment from our plant in Petaluma CA. On approximately May 15, 1999. As you can see, our company has a long history of producing high quality, naturally raised products. We also recognize the sophistication level of the Japanese consumers and understand that they are seeking high quality chicken products of this type. We look forward to working with our trading partner in Japan.
